Thermo Fisher Scientific Mercury Porosimeter – Pascal Series

Pascal Porosimeters provide ultimate resolution in pore size and pore volume determination in the minimum analysis time. This can be achieved thanks to a unique proprietary algorithm that balances the pressurization speed with the mercury intrusion rate into the sample power network. (PASCL – Pressurization by Automatic Speedup with Continuous Adjustment Logic)

Pascal mercury porosimeters range consists of three modeles that differ by the task and intended pore size range.

Pascal 140: All operations related to the sample preparation and large porosity studies (Macro Pores) are carried out automatically by the Pascal 140. Typical Pressure range upto 400 KPa , Pore Size range 116 to 3.8 µm. Pascal 140W option enables to extend the measurement into Ultra Macro pore range from 900 to 3.8 µm. Pascal 140 is often coupled with to one of the two high pressure modules.

Pascal 240: works up to 200 Mpa PA pressure, permitting pore size determination down to the mesopore. Typical Pressure range upto 200 Mpa, Pore Size range 15 to 0.0074 µm.

Pascal 440: reaches a pressure of 400 Mpa which enables very small pores to be measured ( Micro Pores). Typical Pressure range upto 400 Mpa, Pore Size range 15 to 0.0036 µm.
